Description
You’re Sure to Get Somewhere is part of series of pen drawings based on Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Although the book has inspired hundreds of images, I have tried to present my own vision of the characters. This, therefore, is how I see them…Alice first encounters the Cheshire Cat sitting in a tree whilst she walks through a curious looking forest. It soon becomes apparent that it’s no use asking him for directions on how to get out of the wood though!
From the Alice Series, You’re Sure to Get Somewhere is a print of an original drawing by Kim Curtis from her Alice in Wonderland Series. The drawing was created using fineliner pens and then digitally coloured. The wording is a quote taken from the Lewis Carroll book that relates to the scene or character. This is the scene when Alice first encounters the Cheshire Cat.The artwork was reproduced on an 8 colour printer using archival pigment inks. The paper is high quality archival, acid free, 100% cotton inkjet paper. The resulting giclée print is mounted on a 12mm deep board and finished with a a high gloss, UV resistant Resin coating.A recess in the back of the panel allows it to hang from a slightly protruding screw head in the wall. No additional fixings are required.Easel not included. Watermark shown does not appear on the print.
