Description
Chatsworth Lion is a digitally coloured charcoal drawing by Peter Taylor Ward inspired by the famous lion sculptures at Chatsworth House. The marble Lions at Chatsworth were originally made by the sculptor Antonio Canova for the Rezzonico monument in St. Peters, Rome.
The high quality print has been adhered to a wooden panel, cut to the shape and, then, resined. The specialist art resin gives it a stunning high gloss finish that is also UV resistant protecting the print from fading. Presented on a base it adds decoration and interest to shelving, mantlepieces, hearths or desks.
Full dimentions including base are:
Size: Height 48cm, Width 26cm, Depth 5.5cm
