Description
Diving Champion started as a simple doodle of a frog. Two things inspired this piece – a love of Victorian and Edwardian style graphics and an admiration of the sometimes bizarre writings of Lewis Carroll. Therefore, this is a mix of pen drawing, vintage graphic design and, frankly, absurd narrative writing. Oh, I quite like frogs as well!
Diving Champion is a print of an original pen drawing by Kim Curtis. The drawing has been digitally coloured and incorporated into a vintage ‘newspaper article’ design.
The artwork was reproduced on an 8 colour printer using archival pigment inks. The paper is high quality archival, acid free, 100% cotton inkjet paper. The resulting giclée print is mounted on a 12mm deep board and finished with a thick high gloss, UV resistant Resin coating.
A recess in the back of the panel allows it to hang from a slightly protruding screw head in the wall. No additional fixings are required.
Easel not included. Watermark shown does not appear on the print.
Dimensions 170mm x 120mm x 12mm
