Grand Canal is a digitally coloured print of an original pen drawing by Peter Taylor Ward and shows a section of the largest of the canals in Venice. It is one of several drawings that were developed from pencil sketches made whilst visiting this amazing place and then digitally coloured in blocks of harmonious earth tones and pastel shades.
The drawing features a view looking down the Grand Canal which is one of the many areas that you get to see up close should you ever consider a Gondola ride. It might be rather more expensive than a water taxi but gliding by allows you to get some sketching in! The pastel blocks of colour used to enhance the drawing give it an extra ‘dreaminess’.
The artwork has been reproduced on an 8 colour printer using archival pigment inks on high quality archival, acid free, 100% cotton inkjet paper. The resulting giclée print is mounted on a 12mm deep board and finished with a thick high gloss, UV resistant Resin coating giving a tile-like appearance.
The panel features a hole in the back that will slot over a screw in the wall to hang flush with the wall with no additional fixings required.
Easel not included. The Cut Loose Art Watermark shown does not appear on the print.
