Description
Lana is a bewitching femme fatale inspired by 1950’s comic book artwork. Re-imagined by Peter Taylor Ward in a digitally-coloured pen drawing, she is part of a series female portraits in a pop art style. From this ‘Pop Head’ series, we have selected some of the portraits and turned them into paintings, lampshades and, of course, cushions.
The Pop Head cushions are hand-made using printed ‘Peach Face’ and snuggly suede-effect polyester fabrics. Both fabrics are soft to the touch yet duarble and washable. The polyester pad can be removed via a top zip. Each zip being in a bright, funky colour that compliments the printed image.
The cushions measure 40 x 40cm with removable polyester pad included.
Made and Printed in the UK. The printing uses specialist dye sublimation that fuses the ink to the fabric fibres, creating a deep, rich permanent print that won’t fade over time or with washing. Zip fastening on the cover allows removal of pad for washing. To clean, remove the cover to machine wash at 30 degrees and iron inside out.
