Description
Sienna Rome V is an original Oil Painting by Peter Taylor Ward. It is the first in a series of 5 landscapes in Burnt Sienna that feature buildings designed for Rome. In keeping with the fantastical nature of capricci, not every building featured was ever completed or still exists.
Many of Peter’s works feature buildings or architectural detail as the main focus of the piece. These elements are often shown out of context in adapted, imagined or even abstract landscapes. In his monochrome paintings, Peter covers the surface of the canvas in Classical and Renaissance style buildings which creates a textural feel.
The painting is oil colour and Conté crayon on canvas and presented in a glazed, wooden frame with a double mount. The frame is complete with fixings and picture cord ready for hanging.
Easel not included. The Cut Loose Art Watermark shown does not appear on the painting.
