Description
‘Venice Building I Tint’ is a print of an original drawing by Peter Taylor Ward. It focuses on one of the many beautiful buildings that can be seen in the iconic city of Venice.
Buildings in Venice are largely built in the Venetian Gothic style of architecture. The geographical position of the city made it a critical middleman in trade between the Middle East and destinations throughout Europe. With this meeting of cultures and wealth, the distinctive Venetian style developed. This consists of elements from European Medieval, Moorish and Byzantine building techniques and styles.
The artwork was reproduced on an 8 colour printer using archival pigment inks. The paper is high quality archival, acid free, 100% cotton inkjet paper. The resulting giclée print is mounted on a 12mm deep board and finished with a thick high gloss, UV resistant Resin coating giving a tile-like appearance.
A recess in the back of the wood panel allows it to hang from a slightly protruding screw head in the wall. No additional fixings are required.
Easel not included. Watermark shown does not appear on the print.
