Venice IV Tint is a digitally coloured print of an original charcoal drawing by Peter Taylor Ward and shows part of the canal system in Venice – a city that has picture-perfect views around every corner. It is one of several charcoal drawings that were developed from pencil sketches made whilst visiting this amazing place and then coloured in blocks of harmonious earth tones and pastel shades.
Venice IV Tint is a print depicting a scene in Venice. Although we have only been there once, Venice made a huge impression on Peter and he returns to the subject a lot in his work. Look out for his digitally coloured charcoal and pen drawings as well oil as paintings and collages that all feature scenes of Venice.
The artwork was reproduced on an 8 colour printer using archival pigment inks. The paper is high quality archival, acid free, 100% cotton inkjet paper. The resulting giclée print is mounted on a 12mm deep board and finished with a thick high gloss, UV resistant Resin coating giving a tile-like appearance.
A recess in the back of the wood panel allows it to hang from a slightly protruding screw head in the wall. No additional fixings are required.
Easel not included. Watermark shown does not appear on the print.
