Description
Venice V Tint Resin Wall Art Panel is a large scale print with a resin finish. The artwork, depicting a Venice canal, is by Peter Taylor Ward and is part of his series of Venetian scenes.
The original drawing was made in charcoal using a reductive technique which sees the detail being picked out with an eraser. You can see Peter using this technique, here, in a short film of the making of another of these views of Venice.
Once the drawing is complete, Peter scans the work and digitally colours it. Using high quality fabric printing, the finished work is reproduced in a large scale before being coated with resin and placed in a chunky black wooden frame.
