Vivien Leigh was a British Actress of stage and screen. Among her most notable performances was her oscar-winning portrayal of Scarlett O’Hara in the epic, Gone with the Wind. However, she had had to fight for the part as the Producer, David Selznick, was not at all keen. Some convincing and a screen test later, he and the Director, George Cukor, agreed that she was the woman for the role.
Vivien is a print of a digitally coloured charcoal drawing by Peter Taylor Ward. It features a portrait of the actress, Vivien Leigh.
The artwork was reproduced on an 8 colour printer using archival pigment inks. The paper is high quality archival, acid free, 100% cotton inkjet paper. The resulting giclée print is mounted on a 12mm deep board and finished with a thick high gloss, UV resistant Resin coating giving a tile-like appearance.
A recess in the back of the wood panel allows it to hang from a slightly protruding screw head in the wall. No additional fixings are required.
