Washing - Resin Print Plaque

£20.00

1 in stock

Washing depicts a scene from a lesser known part of Venice. Between the canals are areas of tightly packed buildings with a maze of paved paths and alleyways. Peter has used a pen sketch of one of these alleys and coloured it in Italian ‘ice cream’ tones! In Venice, even the most mundane view is a work of art!

Washing is a digitally coloured print of an original pen drawing by Peter Taylor Ward and depicts one of the alleyways in Venice. It is one of several drawings that were  developed from pencil sketches made whilst visiting this amazing place and then digitally coloured in blocks of harmonious earth tones and pastel shades.

The artwork was reproduced on an 8 colour printer using archival pigment inks. The paper is high quality archival, acid free, 100% cotton inkjet paper. The resulting giclée print is mounted on a 12mm deep board and finished with a thick high gloss, UV resistant Resin coating giving a tile-like appearance.
A recess in the back of the wood panel allows it to hang from a slightly protruding screw head in the wall. No additional fixings are required.
Easel not included. Watermark shown does not appear on the print.

Dimensions 145mm x 210mm x 12mm
