Buying Original Art

All original works on paper or canvas are either professionally framed in glazed wooden frames or treated with a resin finish that turns the piece into a tile-like plaque. The description and photos on each piece will demonstrate how each work is presented.

You may also find one-off 3D Art, ornaments and collage in this section.

All pieces are original and signed by the artist. Themes, subjects and compositions may be revisited but each piece is unique.

Buying Printed Artwork

Here you’ll find digitally coloured drawings & prints of our paintings. Most Cut Loose Art prints are finished with a resin coating to produce a high-gloss, plaque that can be hung directly on the wall. Other prints are offered in frames ready to hang.

All prints are high quality, hand-finshed, giclée prints which are stamped and numbered and only one of each print is made at a time.

We also offer a range of ornaments & soft furnishings featuring prints of our work.

Buying Upcycled Furniture

All the furniture you see on Cut Loose Art has been hand-painted with a totally unique design. This may be an adaptation of a famous artwork or a completely original design of our own. As such, each piece of furniture is a one-off work of art.

We let each item inspire us so our furniture portfolio offers a huge range of furniture designs and art styles!

Browse our Furniture Art section to see what is available and where to see the pieces.

Delivery Quote on Request

The selection of original paintings and drawings that you will find on Cut Loose Art is straight from our portfolios of Kim Curtis & Peter Taylor Ward.

Originals include mixed media landscapes, architectural Capricci, pen illustrations, portraiture, and Still Lifes.

With this wide range of subject matter and media, there will be pieces to appeal to many tastes and fit in with all kinds of interiors! From a selfishly creative point of view, we just simply love variety and find inspiration all around!

The resin on the printed plaques is derived from museum conservation-grade materials including a UV stabilizer. This ensures that yellowing will not occur. Check out Peter’s demo of the resin application in the blog section.

Each print is produced individually with personal care and attention. Only one is produced at a time but in Open Editions so, if you like a print that has been sold, you can contact us to see when a new one will be produced or simply check back occasionally to see if a new one has been added.

Every care is taken to produce a desirable yet practical piece of furniture. Even if the piece was not so desirable or practical in its original state! These pieces have lived a life and, in some cases, several so please allow them the odd wrinkle!

We aim to produce pieces that transform them whilst still retaining their character and not obliterating their history. As these are large pieces, we only sell them from our studio or a retail partner so that you can see them in the flesh before you buy!
