Orders can still be placed during this period but will only be despatched as normal from 03/01/2023. We expect disruption to deliveries over the next few weeks because of the Postal strikes and the backlog that these will create. Please allow extra time for your order to reach you.

Because of RM strikes due to take place on 9th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 23rd and 24th of December, there will be disruption to our collections and delays on delivery times. We will be working hard to get your goods out to you but please allow more time for delivery of your orders as a result of the delays this will cause.

Gone Fishing

This fish is just one of the large scale Wall Art panels that Cut Loose Art have had fun creating this year. We think all walls should be home to an artwork – whether it is meant to provoke, comfort, intrigue or simply make you smile! Who wouldn’t want a 5 foot fish above their sofa?!

For full details of this and all our other quirky, decorative, colourful, playful, beautiful and, occasionally, bonkers original cut out paintings, see the Wall Art section of our Shop.

Fish on the Drawing Board

We work in a number of styles and media from charcoal to oil but they all have one thing in common – impact! Great as a statement piece for a domestic setting or a decorative piece for an office, restaurant or bar.

Peter and I love a challenge so, if you have a wall that is crying out for a bit of decoration, get in touch. We’d love to hear about the artwork you have in mind and are keen to paint it for you!

All Wall Art pieces are painted on wooden panel and cut out at the Cut Loose Art studio. They can either be matt varnished or resined for a high gloss finish. Just ask for a quote.

Allow Us To Illuminate You

Lana Pop Head Lampshade by Kim Curtis

Fancy a bit of glamorous illumination?

Taken from Peter’s series of ‘Pop Head’ paintings, this Cut Loose Art lampshade gives a quirky, fun twist to any interior. Marry it with modern or traditional interiors and it will shine!

The design is inspired by the comic art of the 1950s and 1960s which was popularised by such artists as Lichtenstein. Add to this the repeated design on our shades and you have a classy filmatic look.

This sultry femme fatale portrait is joined by a  number of other classic comic book women. Check out the shop for our other Pop Art products.

Venice Charcoal Drawing

Printed artwork entitled Venice IV Tint by Peter Taylor Ward

The charcoal drawing of Venice IV Tint takes shape.

So, as you would expect, every print starts as a drawing. This short film shows Peter using charoal sticks, Conté Crayon and an Eraser Pen to create the monochrome image which is later scanned and digitally coloured. The charcoal is used to fill in large areas whist the crayon picks out low lights. But it is the eraser that does most of the drawing.
